October is here and that means it’s time for all things spooky (OK, it’s always time for all things spooky around here, but even more so now). With Halloween season comes horror movies, and Wearethespooky’s first must watch horror movie lists for 2019!
Rather than giving a one-shot list of everything we’ll be breaking it down by sub-genres of horror so you can go straight to the stuff you’re looking for.
This list will include Psychological horror films – consisting of phobias, paranoia, madness, and home invasion.

#4 It FollowsYear: 2015 – Rating: R – More in the Series: NAfter sleeping with her boyfriend, a teenage girl learns she is given a curse that is transferred via sex. Her friends think she’s losing it until they see the shadows following her. They band together to help end this curse. |
#5 The BabadookYear: 2014 – Rating: NR – More in the Series: NA single mother is trying to raise her son awhile mourning the death of her husband. Her son begins lashing out in fear of a monster living in the home, it isn’t long before the monster torments them both. |
