October is here and that means it’s time for all things spooky (OK, it’s always time for all things spooky around here, but even more so now). With Halloween season comes horror movies, and Wearethespooky’s first must watch horror movie lists for 2019!

Rather than giving a one-shot list of everything we’ll be breaking it down by sub-genres of horror so you can go straight to the stuff you’re looking for.

 

This list will include Monster horror films – consisting of zombies, animals, creatures, vampire, werewolf, mythological, and sci-fi.

#3 The Cabin in the Woods Year: 2012 – Rating: R – More in the Series: N A group of college friends head to, you guessed it, a Cabin in the Woods for a little getaway. Things start going downhill for them, but not for the reason you would think.

 

 

#4 Night of the Living Dead Year: 1968- Rating: R – More in the Series: Y – Dawn of the Dead (1978) Day of the Dead (1985) Land of the Dead (2005) Diary of the Dead (2007) Survival of the Dead (2009) You want a zombie fest, look no further. The OG dead come back to life and eat the living.
