Wearethespooky’s Top 5 Paranormal Horror Movies Halloween 2019

October is here and that means it’s time for all things spooky (OK, it’s always time for all things spooky around here, but even more so now). With Halloween season comes horror movies, and Wearethespooky’s first must watch horror movie lists for 2019!

Rather than giving a one-shot list of everything we’ll be breaking it down by sub-genres of horror so you can go straight to the stuff you’re looking for.

 

This list will include Anthologies – pretty self-explanatory, this will only have horror films with multiple stories

 

 

#1 Holidays Year: 2016 – Rating: NR – More in the Series: N Nine filmmakers tell the stories of various holidays, with a spooky twist.

 

#2 Tales of Halloween Year: 2015 – Rating: NR – More in the Series:  N Ten interlocking tales taking place on All Hallows Eve

 

#3 Trick ‘r Treat Year: 2007 – Rating: R  – More in the Series: N  Various stories taking place in the same town showing what happens if you do not follow the rules of Halloween.

 

 

#4 Chillerama Year: 2011 Rating: R – More in the Series: N  A bunch of movies within a movie. A drive-in movie theater is closing down and is showing four different hour films on their final night. Not a super scary watch, more inappropriate and for laughs

 

 

#5 Creepshow Year: 1982 – Rating: R – More in the Series: N  Five short horror stories paying homage to the horror comics of the 1950s
